Nathan Rosen, retired president of Superior Printing Ink Co., died Nov. 30 in New York at the age of 86.
Although Rosen had never seen a printing press before starting his employment with Superior in 1935, he went on to serve as company president from 1961 to 1989. He was then appointed managing director, a post he held until his retirement from the New York-based firm in 1997.
Rosen is survived by his wife, Ansel; daughter, Lorie Brice; grandsons Michael Brice and Chris Brice; and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Julia, Lilly and Wilder.
