“Martha Stewart Living,” the television series named for the lifestyle guru, this month will start airing exclusively at 8 p.m. ET weekdays on The Style Network, which is part of E! Networks.
The agreement, announced yesterday, calls for airing hour-long episodes from the show's existing library. Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia also will produce four new specials about weddings.
The licensing deal extends the life of the “Martha Stewart Living” program, which is in its 11th season. The show has more than 1,500 hours of content taped.
“Our multiyear partnership with Style provides a home on cable for the series that ensures our loyal audiences will continue to have expanded access to Martha Stewart and the 'Martha Stewart Living' television series during the 2004-2005 network syndication hiatus and beyond,” Sharon Patrick, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia president/CEO, said in a statement.
