@ProfJeffJarvis is a parody Twitter account that satirizes the world of digital influencers, media and marketing. It’s based on the real Jeff Jarvis, who is a publicity advocate and professor of journalism at the City University of New York.
The account gleefully makes fun of techno-jargon, proclaims itself a “thinkfluencer” and espouses on the wonders of content creation. This week, it actually got suspended when it tweeted a hilariously inappropriate picture of male genitalia to Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, asking him to take a look at his “raw data.” Today the account returned, much to the joy of journalists and media satire lovers everywhere.
