Lenders Residential Mortgage retained Zunch Communications Inc. as its interactive agency of record.

Zunch, Dallas, is tasked with online marketing to drive qualified visitor traffic to the site at www.lendersresidentialmortgage.com. Fees were not disclosed.

Lenders Residential, also of Dallas, is a mortgage lending company offering 1,200 loan programs to meet the needs of borrowers with both damaged and perfect credit.

Hoy, Marketing Bodega Ally for Hispanic Research

Spanish-language daily newspaper Hoy partnered with The Marketing Store's Marketing Bodega to explore what U.S. Hispanics think about corporate advertising, marketing and promotions.

The alliance aims to help brand managers, ad executives and marketing directors understand what makes Hispanics tick. Called "Going Beyond the Numbers," the effort will offer Marketing Bodega clients as well as Hoy advertisers and consumers research on this ethnic market.

Hoy is Tribune Co.'s national Hispanic newspaper, with an average daily circulation of 170,000.

Colony Tire Picks Republik for $1M Account

Closing a yearlong review, Colony Tire Corp. hired The Republik as its ad agency of record.

The Durham, NC, agency will work with a $1 million budget to create marketing for broadcast, Internet, direct mail and newspaper media. The goal is to drive traffic as more Colony tire outlets open outside the company's current footprint.

Colony Tire Corp. is the retail consumer division for Colony Tire and Service Centers. It is a tire distributor with 500 employees and 30-plus consumer outlets in North Carolina and Virginia.

Behavior Design Wins Adecco and Connected Ventures Work

Interactive agency Behavior Design won work from management consultant and recruiter Adecco and Connected Ventures.

The New York shop is redesigning and creating North American enterprise intranets and public Web sites for Adecco and its Ajilon corporate unit. Adecco offers management services, consulting and specialized recruitment.

Connected Ventures asked Behavior Design to redesign its T-shirt Web site at www.defunker.com. The site will display more dynamic product catalogs and better e-commerce capability.

Meanwhile, the agency has begun work on phase two for Unilever's Country Crock site at www.countrycrock.com. The site now will have a larger lifestyle resource center with more interactive features.

Also, Behavior Design is reworking HBO's site for "Deadwood" to time with the western series' new season.
