Zing.com's Gets 12 Million E-Mail Addresses in Deal

E-mail newsletter marketing firm PennMedia.com, Tinley Park, IL, announced this week an agreement giving Zing.com, San Francisco, access to its 12 million subscriber e-mail addresses.


Zing.com, a photo Web site, will pay an undisclosed sum for the addresses, as well as advertise on PennMedia's newsletters and Web site (www.pennmedia.com). With the advertising, Zing.com looks to take advantage of PennMedia's huge and growing list of opt-in subscribers. The Web site (www.zing.com) offers consumers a free service to print, store and share pictures online.


PennMedia has eight newsletter categories ranging from joke sites to consumer guides. Some of its clients include Columbia House, DoubleDay, CDNOW and National Child Support.
