Ziff Davis Redistributes Files

Ziff Davis Media Inc. has awarded list management of the majority of its roster of paid-subscriber files to Worldata/WebConnect and all of its controlled-circulation files to Direct Media Inc.


The paid-subscriber lists include the postal and e-mail names of titles such as PC Magazine, Smart Business, Yahoo! Internet Life, Expert Gamer, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Family PC, Extreme Tech, Official U.S. PlayStation and Expedia Travels, said Jay Schwedelson, corporate vice president at Worldata.


The controlled-circulation lists include the postal and e-mail names of eWeek, Interactive Week, Smart Partner, CIO Insight and The Net Economy.


Greenwich, CT-based Direct Media also manages two of the Ziff Davis paid subscriber files - Computer Shopper and MacWorld.


Boca Raton, FL-based Worldata also took over management of the UCG Family of Lists made up of more than 100 publications, newsletters, Web-based products and professional conferences. Titles include Postal World, National ZIP Code Directory, Kleinrock Tax Expert, The CEO Report and Home Health Line.
