Z Gallerie Picks Alliance Data for Private-Label Card Services

Alliance Data Systems Corp., a provider of transaction, credit and marketing services, announced yesterday a five-year deal to provide private-label credit card services for Z Gallerie, a retailer specializing in high-quality, distinctive furnishings and decorative accessories for the home.


Z Gallerie operates 59 stores nationwide with sales approaching $200 million and offers unique merchandise including furniture, artwork, lighting, tabletop, textiles and decorative accessories.


Alliance Data, Dallas, will develop and launch a private-label credit card program for Z Gallerie's stores and its customer-oriented Web site. Alliance will provide services including account acquisition and activation, receivables funding, card authorization, private-label credit card issuance, statement generation, marketing services, remittance processing and customer service functions.
