Youtopia.com, a Web site based on building customer loyalty among teen-agers, yesterday named Brittany Spears as its first spokeswoman.

Spears is also expected to offer content advice for the site that is set to launch later this month.

Terms were not disclosed.

The deal is the first of many the Web site plans to sign with entertainers popular with teens; Youtopia.com plans to attract viewers by offering live chats with the stars.

The New York-based company predicts 1 million teens will join as members of the site, which will offer sweepstakes giveaways and loyalty purchasing credit called "Youdollars." Currently, the Web site is offering 750 Youdollars for every person that joins the company's e-mail list.

The loyalty credit can be used to buy compact discs, clothes and other teen-oriented merchandise through third-party vendors affiliated with Youtopia.com.
