Young List Professionals Accept Ron Davis Award
NEW YORK -- The Direct Marketing Association's List and Database Council gave four relative newcomers to the industry the 2005 Ron Davis Young List Professional of the Year Award yesterday during its List Vision 2005 conference.This year's recipients are Jonathan Pogact, sales manager at Mal Dunn Associates Inc.; Erin Dolan, account group supervisor at American List Counsel; Heather Winnicki, account executive at Direct Media Inc.; and Chris Goodwin, account manager at Millard Group Inc.
The awards were presented during the conference luncheon at the Marriott Marquis.
The awards go to individuals with no more than five years of service in the list industry, who are at middle-level management or below and who show commitment to direct marketing as a career. They were named for direct marketer Ron Davis, former director of list management at Meredith Corp., who died of cancer in 1995. The award first was presented in 1996.
