YesMail, RadicalMail Enter Messaging Pact
E-mail marketing firm YesMail Inc., Vernon Hills, IL, struck an agreement this week with e-mail multimedia firm RadicalMail Inc. that will allow YesMail to combine audio and video messaging with instant-transaction ability.A service YesMail obtained through the contract is voice and video messaging that can be carried out without a Web browser. Also unnecessary will be the ability to download or install executable files, or to have media players or plug-ins reinstalled.
Also exchanged in the agreement was RadicalMail's service that will allow YesMail marketers to instantly buy products and services within an e-mail message. How much RadicalMail, Marina Del Rey, CA, is charging for these services was not disclosed.
