YesMail Adds Video to E-Mail
YesMail said it has chosen the video e-mail software EyeMail from EyeWonder, a developer of instant streaming video technologies for Internet and wireless devices.EyeWonder's video technology will let YesMail create an interactive experience for consumers, the two companies said.
EyeMail, which is powered by the Java-based Eyeris technology, delivers streaming video and audio seamlessly within an e-mail. When opened by the recipient, the video and audio appear within the body of the e-mail. E-mails will contain embedded links allowing for interaction and conversion within the e-mail, along with the ability to pass the e-mail to a friend.
