YellowPages.com Advertisers Now on Yahoo Local

Advertisers on online directory YellowPages.com can have their ads distributed across Yahoo Local and Yahoo Yellow Pages as part of the two companies' new agreement.

YellowPages.com, Pasadena, CA, a joint venture between AT&T Inc. and BellSouth Corp., said last week that "select" advertisers that buy a YellowPages.com ad package will be distributed across Yahoo Local and Yahoo Yellow Pages as sponsored search results.

"Yahoo's large and loyal user base, as well as a strong brand ... brings significant value and benefit to YellowPages.com advertisers," YellowPages.com president/CEO Charles Stubbs said in a statement.

YellowPages.com also has distribution agreements with AOL Yellow Pages and Switchboard.
