The Yankee Candle Company Inc. last week announced "Make a Memory," a service that allows customers to design and buy candles at yankeecandle.com.A one-screen palette lets customers design a custom candle using materials from five product lines. Customers can see the candle take shape as they make each design choice, plus change and compare design elements without having to refresh the Web page.
