Yahoo Inc. expanded its small business content this month by launching an online resource center at smallbusiness.yahoo.com/resources.

The Yahoo Small Business Resource Center features about 1,000 business-related articles created by Yahoo. It also has content from other sources such as Inc. magazine, Entrepreneur.com, AllBusiness.com, BuyerZone.com and Nolo.

The content on the new site is divided into eight categories: Getting Started, Sales and Marketing, Online Business, Management and HR, Legal, Finance, Office and Technology and Business Tools.

Yahoo, Sunnyvale, CA, offers advertising opportunities on the site to companies with products and services focused on small business owners.

The resource center joins Yahoo's existing content and services targeting small businesses, which include Web hosting, domains, business mail and the e-commerce platform Yahoo Merchant Solutions.
