XmarkstheSpot Adds 5 Firms to Roster

XMarkstheSpot, a San Francisco-based marketing services company, yesterday signed five publishing partners to its cost-per-acquisition network.

The online network introduces publishers' opt-in registered users to advertisers and allows users to register online one time for multiple Web site services.

The distribution and co-branding agreements, which include co-marketing and advertising efforts such as banners, newsletters and text links on partner sites, are with MyFree.com, eDiets.com, SmartPortfolio.com, eAcceleration.com and Communities.com.

XMarkstheSpot said the deal gives the companies brand awareness and provides their users with the convenience and cash benefits of a central registration service.
