XactMail Handling J2's BTB E-Mail List
XactMail, the e-mail marketing unit of VentureDirect Worldwide, is managing the 1.3 million-name e-mail list owned by Internet messaging firm j2 Global Communications.The j2 list consists of mostly business-to-business e-mail names in the banking, legal, technology, hospitality and media/publishing fields. More than 70 percent of the list members are corporate executives and sales, marketing and creative professionals, according to VentureDirect.
"This list is sought after because it represents a significant [number] of highly qualified [small-office/home-office] and entrepreneur opt-in e-mail names," said Richard Baumer, VentureDirect president/CEO.
With the addition of the j2 list, XactMail now claims to manage more than 15 million e-mail names. VentureDirect, New York, also operates B2BFreeNet, advertising network Ad-Venture, media-buying service VentureDirectOnline and several other Internet businesses.
