WWE names Hill SVP

World Wrestling Entertainment has named Eddie Hill SVP of marketing, effective June 7.

Hill will be responsible for the company's pay-per-view events, network affiliate marketing, market research, and various branding and promotional work. He reports to Michelle D. Wilson, EVP of marketing at WWE.

Hill was previously VP of US advertising and global agency management at American Express, heading the “Are You A Cardmember?” and “Don't Take Chances. Take Charge.” campaigns.

He has also held positions at Nickelodeon, Disney and ESPN.
