The International Advertising Festival, also known as Cannes Lions, named Steve Harrison as the 2006 Lions Direct jury president.

Harrison is managing director and creative partner of Harrison Troughton Wunderman in London. He succeeds last year's Lions Direct jury president, Fred Koblinger, CEO of BBDO Holding Austria and managing director of Palaa Koblinger Proximity.

Harrison Troughton Wunderman won the debut Lions Direct grand prix in 2002 as well as three gold, five silver and two bronze Cannes Lions for clients Xerox, Microsoft and Star Alliance. The agency also handles the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars account.

Harrison is the first creative director to head the Lions Direct jury in its five-year life.
