Wunderman Cuts 15 Jobs in NY

WPP Group PLC's Wunderman direct marketing agency let go 15 people in its flagship New York office.

The ranks of the redundancies included senior and junior finance and design staff as well as freelancers. The agency, like others, adjusts its staffing levels to keep pace with its workload.

"The makeup of the staff today looks exactly like the staff we had last week," said Wunderman spokesman Andrew Sexton. "Wunderman is proud of its culture - it's the underpinning of who we are. We don't tolerate bias in any shape or form - never have, never will."

Wunderman clients include Pfizer, Microsoft and Citibank. The New York office has about 450 employees.
