Wowtown, Amazing Media Strike Rich Media Deal
Marketing Internet portal Wowtown.com and Amazing Media, Fairfax, VA, formed a strategic alliance Friday that will allow local businesses on the Wowtown community network to migrate their yellow page and classified ad campaigns to the Internet.The deal calls for Wowtown to distribute the Amazing Media System -- Media Manager and its TransActive Ad capability -- through Wowtown's community portal network. The program is a do-it-yourself system that can create, target, schedule and track the results of online rich media ads.
The deal is expected to add another revenue stream for Wowtown, Seattle, while helping the company's affiliate advertisers to directly manage their marketing programs.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
