So, what is Haddop exactly?

Named after a toy elephant, Apache Hadoop is anything but fun and games.

And since it's meant to store and manage elephant-size data, the open-source technology is a marketer's friend—one that data analysts can use to take a blend of complex, structured, and unstructured data types to, for example, create micro-segments, do deep targeting, and even track customer behavior.
