Word to the Wise: CPL

For ages marketers have used—and still do use—CPL to abbreviate cost per lead.

But it's marketing, so we need to add alternate meanings to keep us all guessing.

To that end, CPL is now also used for cost per like; in other words, the cost of acquiring a Facebook fan.
