Word of Net Debuts System to Measure Online Visibility

Word of Net is expected to unveil its Net Visibility program at Iconocast's Web Attack trade show in New York today. The program ranks a Web site's visibility compared with its competitors.

Word of Net, Sherman Oaks, CA, said the system measures the effectiveness of a Web site's key words on affiliated search engines and rates the site's performance in areas such as category listings in online directories and links at other sites.

Net Visibility will be available July 10 for a subscription-based fee. Rates have not been set. Those who preregister for the service at www.wordofnet.com before July 1 will get a 30-day free trial.
