Window Book Upgrades Shipping Products, Seeks Volunteers

Postal Software provider Window Book Inc. announced last week that mailing products' have been updated to comply with the U.S. Postal Service's Facility Access and Shipment Tracking system. Additionally, Window Book is seeking volunteers to beta test its FAST interface with USPS.

FAST replaced USPS's previous system, Drop Shipment Appointment System. It processes drop shipping via electronic notification and automatically tracks appointments.

Cambridge, MA-based, Window Books' mailing products include DAT-MAIL, a complete mailing management software program and Post Master, which allows bulk mailers to prepare postage statements.

DAT-MAIL, for example, will now allow mailers to meet FAST requirements by allowing them to input their data into the system with the required 8125 forms and automatically fill in the pallet information on postal documentation with Mail.dat files.

If interested in becoming a beta volunteer, please contact Lisa Bowes at lbowes@windowbook.com.
