Whitepages.com to Support MSN's White Pages Channel

Whitepages.com Inc., a provider of online directory assistance services, will support MSN's White Pages channel in the United States.


The deal comes soon after a similar arrangement to support the online white pages of Yellow Pages Group, the official publisher of Bell Canada's print directories and the sites at www.canada411.ca and www.yellowpages.ca.


Whitepages.com will power the white pages directory assistance service on MSN's home page under the "Look it Up" area. With this addition, the Whitepages.com Network accounts for an estimated 30 percent of the online directory assistance market in the United States and Canada.


The MSN alliance helps the Whitepages.com Network increase exposure for its advertisers, including Allstate, General Motors Corp., State Farm and Vonage.
