What's in our mailbox this month: Credit card applications

Cardholders receive 5% off everyday Target purchases and prescriptions with the Redcard direct mailer, but the savings may not be enough to compete with major credit card offers.

Recipients of Discover's “Just For Students” card offer, with a 2% cash reward on gas and dining purchases, targets first-time credit card seekers looking to build good credit history.

American Express' “Blue Cash Everyday Card” features cash back percentages on purchases and no annual fees, as well as a QR code inside the mailer for more information.

Sears' MasterCard mail piece conveys a youthful charm with a snappy photo and icons denoting gas, grocery store, restaurant, and drugstore purchases that earn bonus points.

Check out what else has been hitting our mailboxes: b-to-b direct mailers; 6-by-9-inch direct mail; targeted consumer emails; children's e-commerce emails; and outdoor furniture/entertaining; and automobiles.
