WebTrends Updates Search Marketing Analytics

Web analytics firm WebTrends Inc. updated its paid and organic search marketing analytics solution yesterday. WebPosition 4 was redesigned to allow marketers to view the performance of specific keywords and their overall search marketing effort with the solution's Keyword Visibility Index.

The index shows a Web site's overall visibility for all of its targeted keywords and search engines. The new version offers support for more than 200 global and regional paid search engines, including Yahoo Search Marketing, Miva and Kanoodle, as well as more than 200 organic search engines.

WebPosition 4 also includes link popularity and site search engine saturation reports. Site saturation measures how much of a site's content is actually published in search engines' results pages, not just spidered by the engines.
