WebSideStory upgrades Publish

Digital marketing and analytics provider WebSideStory Inc. launched WebSideStory Publish 4.0, an on-demand Web content management tool enabling marketers to automatically drive Web site content placement based on visitor behavior in its HBX Analytics product.

San Diego-based WebSideStory said this integrated capability allows marketers to display the most popular and engaging content possible, thereby increasing visitor loyalty, customer satisfaction and lead generation. Marketers, for example, can show the most popular downloads on a site, as opposed to an alphabetical list, or make sure that top customer support questions, product details or sales tools are updated in real-time based on the "wisdom of the crowds," or measures of popularity, such as most requested pages.

With the launch, WebSideStory completes the integration between the different components of its on-demand digital marketing suite, including Web analytics, site search, Web content management and keyword bid management.
