WebSideStory Releases Web Traffic Tool
WebSideStory Inc., San Diego, is expected today to introduce HitBox Professional, a new Web traffic analysis solution for small to mid-size businesses.The solution, which starts at $23.95 a month, is designed to free businesses from having to process cumbersome Web server logs to get data about online visitors.
HitBox Professional is entirely Web based, a company official said. It works by installing a snippet of code in each page of a Web site.
There is no hardware or software to buy, nor any reliance on IT personnel to deliver or archive reports. The information is available on demand through any Internet connection and can be ordered through the Internet.
