WebSideStory names MacIntyre president/CEO

WebSideStory Inc., a Web analytics and online marketing services firm, named a new president/CEO after Jeff Lunsford decided to take up the same post at another undisclosed privately held firm in a different industry.

Jim MacIntyre takes the top spot at WebSideStory effective Nov. 20, also joining the board of directors of the San Diego company. His predecessor, who was CEO for three and a half years, will still hold a seat on the board.

Also, WebSideStory appointed Bill Harris to chairman of the board. Mr. Harris was former CEO of Intuit and PayPal, now an eBay Inc. brand.

Mr. MacIntyre was the co-founder and CEO of Web analytics firm Visual Sciences LLC, which merged with WebSideStory in February. He launched Visual Sciences five years ago and led the development of its Visual Site analytical software.
