Web Realty Site Brings Home 'Cinemercials'

Internet real estate company Homestore.com Inc., Thousand Oaks, CA, this week launched its national television branding campaign of "cinemercials," or motion-picture-like advertisements.


The sequential campaign will last six weeks and target major U.S. media markets. With the ads, the firm will try to get prospective and current homeowners to look at Homestore.com's 1.3 million homes. Homestore.com hired filmmaker and Clio Award winner Joe Pytka, who has created TV commercials for IBM, Apple, Nike, Hallmark and Alta Vista.
