*WCJ Changes Name to Impiric

Wunderman Cato Johnson said yesterday it is changing its name to Impiric. The name change is to better reflect its new integrated service offerings, which include new research and development technologies, a redefined market focus and new strategic partnerships.

Impiric said it has formed a worldwide research and development capability, known as the Marketing Lab, which incubates ideas and helps develop new marketing programs and services. Imperic also said it has entered into strategic alliances with companies like Digital Impact and EchoMall that will deliver proprietary communications and database technologies to the agency's clients.
