Walter Karl, a Donnelley Marketing Co., Pearl River, NY, announced the availability yesterday of the Ultimate Ethnic Database, a tool designed to identify ethnic consumers and business owners.


The Ultimate Ethnic Database uses proprietary technology to enhance its DQI3 Consumer Database of 200 million individuals and the infoUSA Business Database of 12 million businesses.


According to Walter Karl, the technology offers the following capabilities to marketers:


· Accurate ethnic coding.


· First name and surname analysis.


· Language preference scoring.


· Comprehensive national coverage.


· Proprietary software.


· Enhanced data with self-reported information.


List owners also can send their house files to Walter Karl to have them enhanced with ethnic data.
