Von Kennel Becomes Rapp Collins Global CEO

Omnicom Group Inc.'s Rapp Collins Worldwide promoted Gary Von Kennel to the new position of global CEO as part of a leadership shuffle to raise the direct marketing agency's international and domestic stature.

Based in New York, Mr. Von Kennel will oversee Rapp's network of 60 offices in 30 countries. Robert G. Horvath succeeds him as chairman/CEO of Rapp Collins Worldwide North America, a step up from president of the agency's North American operations.

Rapp lured Michael Sugzda from Wunderman New York to become president of Rapp for North America. He has 25 years' experience on accounts like Merrill Lynch, Lipitor, AT&T and Universal Card.
