Vitamin World Uses Blue Wristband for Prostate Cancer Awareness

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and Nutritional supplements retailer Vitamin World is selling blue "Fight Prostate Cancer" wristbands this month in its stores across the country.

The wristbands sell for $3 each. All of the after-tax profits from the sale of the wristbands will be given directly to the National Prostate Cancer Coalition.

Prostate cancer is the second deadliest cancer among American men. The coalition would like to have people identify blue as the color of the prostate cancer cause similar to the way they do with pink for breast cancer.

Vitamin World has 470 stores nationwide and more information can be found at its site.
