Skymall.com, a division of Sky Mall Inc., Phoenix, and Visa, announced a global strategic alliance yesterday to develop customer promotions, loyalty campaigns and numerous online marketing campaigns.


Visa and Sky Mall will work together to provide customized offers to Visa's cardholders while Visa will promote and extend skymall.com's visibility in the marketplace through statement inserts and banner advertising at www.visa.com.


Thomas Edwards, chief marketing officer at skymall.com, said the partnership would grow both companies' business and would especially help skymall gain increased brand recognition.


Other major online Visa partners include America Online and Yahoo.
