Vertis, Travidia Ally For Online Inserts

Vertis, a Baltimore technology-based marketing and advertising solutions provider, and Travidia Inc., an Internet-based marketing management and preprint ad services provider based in Chico, CA, yesterday announced a strategic marketing alliance.

Vertis' Inserts2online service lets national and regional retailers and other advertisers make inserts that appear in newspapers or co-op mailers each week available online. Inserts2online includes search features and the ability for customers to find products and prices in their local store.

Travidia's Integrated Marketplace is an Internet marketing management tool deployed nationally by newspapers and other media Web sites. It lets consumers browse and search local display, real estate and automobile ads within the online versions of these local publications.

The strategic marketing alliance will let Vertis' Inserts2online customers extend the reach of their online ad programs from the retail Web site to local newspapers and other media Web sites offering Integrated Marketplace services.
