Vertis Site Contains Store Inserts

Vertis introduced Inserts2online yesterday. The service lets retailers and other advertisers make inserts that typically appear in newspapers or co-op mailers available online.

Inserts2online includes search features and the ability for customers to find products and prices in their local store. Image breakouts magnify individual products to provide text and image details, and real-time reporting provides retailers with customers' browse behaviors for targeted sales and promotions.

Vertis, Baltimore, said the program can broaden a retailer's customer base by including people who do not receive the hard-copy insert, those who throw it away and people who prefer to retrieve information online.
