VerticalResponse Buys, Relaunches WorkZ.com

VerticalResponse Inc., San Francisco, a provider of self-service and customized direct marketing solutions, announced yesterday the acquisition and relaunch of WorkZ.com, also of San Francisco.


WorkZ.com provides information, advice and templates for businesses seeking better management techniques, marketing strategies and communication tactics.


WorkZ.com offers thousands of articles advising managers on marketing plans, direct mail, retailing, Web site design, business operations, finance, personnel and other topics. Online templates are available for the creation of business documents such as press releases, privacy policies, contracts and agreements.


"We help companies build their brands and convert prospects into customers with our customizable, permission-based online marketing tools," said Janine Popick, VerticalResponse CEO.


Popick said business-to-business users also will be able to republish articles from WorkZ in their own newsletters, contribute articles and advertise on WorkZ.
