Vertical Response partners with Long Jump

E-mail services firm Vertical Response has partnered with database services firm LongJump, in a move to provide CRM services within its e-mail platform.

LongJump also has opened up its platform to third-party integration to give customers a one-stop to integrate data with e-mail for the small to midsize business space.

"The initiative behind the partnership is to allow our platform to be integrated with third party vendors to extend our business and database applications," said Pankaj Malviya, founder and CEO of LongJump. "I think that Vertical Response is one of the most cost-effective solutions for small businesses and we are happy to work with them."

The partnership comes as LongJump itself has entered the e-mail space with a new platform called Email Campaign Manager, which includes a visual dashboard and steps to build and track e-mail campaigns.

"This partnership saves customers time from having to go through an additional contract and technical integration hurdles required to get two different applications to work together," said Janine Popick, CEO of VerticalResponse. "The combined solution is a win-win for customers who benefit from the comprehensive functionality that VerticalResponse delivers while LongJump has seamlessly integrated its Email Campaign Manager into a powerful CRM solution."
