Vanguard Direct Expands Fulfillment Facility

Vanguard Direct, New York, said last week that it completed a 23,000 square-foot expansion to its fulfillment and hand assembly facility at the Brooklyn Army Terminal.


The expansion brings the facility's floor space to 58,000 square feet, Vanguard said. Extra capacity was needed because of Vanguard's growing business and client requests, the company said.


Along with fulfillment and assembly, the facility performs warehouse, printing and shipping operations. Vanguard provides round-the-clock security at the plant to ensure confidentiality.


Vanguard was the Brooklyn Army Terminal's first tenant when it opened in 1989. The company has been in business since 1976 and provides creative, production, distribution, storage and fulfillment services to clients in the Northeast United States.
