ValueClick Promotes 2 Execs in Effort to Focus on Revenue Generation

ValueClick Inc. has promoted Sam Paisley to chief operating officer and Earle Malm to vice chairman.

The promotions are part of the online advertising services firm's plan to focus on operations and revenue generation.

Paisley, formerly ValueClick's vice president of corporate development, will be responsible for the management and development of the Westlake Village, CA, company's infrastructure.

Malm, formerly chief operating officer, will concentrate on establishing strategic relationships with business partners.

"With our recent acquisition activity, we need an equal senior-level focus both on operations, as well as on revenue generation and strategic relationship development," said Jim Zarley, ValueClick's chairman/CEO.

Malm said the company is shifting its emphasis from aggressive international expansion to "seamless integration and operations."
