ValueClick 1Q Revenue Rose 450 Percent

ValueClick, Santa Barbara, CA, Thursday said its revenue increased 450 percent in the first quarter of 2000 from a year-ago.

ValueClick's revenues for the three months ended March 31 were $11 million, compared to $2 million for the first quarter of 1999.

The performance-based advertising company attributed the dramatic results to a strong increase in total banner advertisement impressions, click-throughs and advertisers.

ValueClick's network of Web sites increased to 12,400 from 7,500 a year-ago. The company's click-throughs rose to 21.9 million from 6.8 million over the same time period.
