Valpak begins ValpakDeals.com rollout

Coupon company Valpak will launch a deals website on November 3 in three markets, and debut it in another market next week. The site, ValpakDeals.com, will offer daily deals, local coupons and sweepstakes for consumers in the three respective markets.

The initial launch will target customers in Omaha, NE; Long Island, NY; and Las Vegas, NV. Valpak will expand the service to Southern Connecticut next week, and to additional markets in the months ahead.

Offers available on the site will vary by the day, but the company will promote certain daily deals as “top features,” such as 50% off at a local restaurant on November 3, or half-off relaxation services on November 5. Valpak will determine what deals to promote based on internal research on the success of various offers.

Valpak will also offer weekly $200 sweepstakes for consumers who send invitations to the site to their friends. It will hold drawings every Friday from the site's launch through the end of the year.

The company will promote ValpakDeals.com through e-mail marketing and banner ads, as well as a ValpakDeals Twitter and Facebook account. Ad agency Dunn & Co. worked with Valpak on branding, while direct marketing agency VeraData assisted with marketing. Blue State Digital oversaw online marketing.

To celebrate the launch, Valpak will award the first 50 shoppers who sign up with a $50 check.

A Valpak representative could not be immediately reached for comment.
