USPS Upgrades Postal Explorer

The U.S. Postal Service announced last month a new, easier-to-use version of Postal Explorer, its online resource for business mail that houses all of the postal service's business mailing publications, such as the Domestic Mail Manual and Customer Support Rulings.


The USPS redesigned the site with new menus and an enhanced search engine.


The postal service added a second video tutorial. Under "Additional Links" in the bottom right of the home page (www.pe.usps.com) click "Tutorials," then "Overview-Postal Explorer." The tutorial explains what is available and demonstrates the new DMM menu and navigation system.


The site includes rate calculators, domestic rate charts, business mailing forms, Quick Service Guides, rate case information and Standard Mail eligibility information.
