USPS Issues Business Mailer Guide

The U.S. Postal Service has released a guide to mailing for small- to medium-sized businesses, the USPS said yesterday.

The guide includes demonstrations of effective mailings using postcards, letters and packages, the USPS said. It also details the uses and advantages of retail mail services, outlines how to obtain discounts on business mail and discusses online mailing services.

A tour of the guide, dubbed "A Guide to Mailing for Businesses and Organizations," is available on the "Grow Your Business" section of the usps.com Web site. The USPS also mailed copies of the guide to customers in mid-July.
