USPS has new preparation option for automation letters

The US Postal Service published a new preparation option for automation letters in the Domestic Mail Manual today.

According to the USPS, mailers preparing automation First-Class Mail or Standard Mail letters no longer need to place overflow pieces in separate trays. Instead, they may be placed in the front or back of trays at the next sort level. However, overflow pieces need to be grouped by destination.
