USADATA.com, New York, a marketing intelligence provider, unveils its new research tool this week that is expected to give sales, marketing and planning professionals the ability to gather detailed and focused marketing data about the Web directly from the Web. The product, which is expected to be released today at the Web Advertising '99 Conference in New York, will be called USADATA.com's Internet Information Portal and will provide users with information on the habits and spending patterns of consumers as well as online advertisers.
It will answer questions such as how a company's target customer segment is using the Internet, what shares of people in different metro areas are online and how online customers differ from those not on the Web. The site can be accessed from any Internet browser at http//:internetusadata.com. IIP will be able to be integrated with a company's own database and customized to include a search engine, a report generator and a relevant news feed.
