USA Direct Inc., a full-service direct mail provider, will merge with New York-based marketing agency Starbright, the two companies said Friday. Financial details of the merger were not disclosed.

USA Direct said that Starbright's Direct-e business unit, which specializes in online direct response, would enhance its e-commerce marketing service offerings in addition to expanding its presence in the New York area. USA Direct's USA MailNow division has offered Web-based direct marketing services since 2000, but Starbright will add database marketing and e-mail creation and distribution elements.

In addition to e-commerce, Starbright provides personalized direct mail and marketing services. Its past clients include Snapple, Adobe, Ramada Plaza Resorts and media outlets such as Rolling Stone, American Demographics and Wired. USA Direct, York, PA, provides creative, printing, data processing, personalization, fulfillment, lettershop and other mail services.
