USA Direct Provides Custom Mailing Services to SBLI USA
The announcement was made at the DMA's fall show.
Working with USA MailNow's capabilities online, SBLI USA staff can create personalized, targeted direct mail campaigns in minutes, and get them mailed in as little as three days.
With the USA MailNow agreement, SBLI USA staff can access all of their current product-specific brochures at the order-entry site, personalize them online with an individual bank's logo and phone number, customize graphics to target specific consumer groups and fulfill orders for specific promotions in record time.
In addition, when SBLI USA staff choose a quantity for a given mailing, they immediately get a price quote online. Once they approve the mailing, it is automatically submitted to the USA MailNow site. USA Direct takes the project from there, seeing it through to completion at its headquarters. Its lettershop and printing facilities finalize the mailing, which is then processed through the U.S. Postal Service housed under the same roof.
SBLI USA is an insurance service provider for more than 15 banks in New York state. The company is the first in the state to sell insurance products via the bank platform. Its marketing department supplies each individual bank with targeted product brochures.
"The order-entry site allows us much more customizing flexibility than we've had in the past," said Richard Staton, vice president, marketing, SBLI USA. "Rather than printing a small quantity for one bank, and a different small quantity for another bank, we can now go in and customize brochures already housed at the site -- and create any number of personalized mailings in a few minutes."
SBLI USA is licensed to sell its insurance products in more than 40 states and is coordinating a roll-out of its services nationwide.
SBLI USA is tapping into other USA MailNow services as well.
"We're using the new order-entry site to produce a monthly direct mail packet," said Staton, "and we plan to use their new-mover file to update our lists."
